The top-level node (Chongqing) for identification and resolution had achieved an accumulative registration volume of 6.94 billion by the end of February, a surge of 6,152 percent compared with the figure in January 2021, according to news from Liangjiang New Area, where the node is located.
The impressive growth points to the fact that more and more enterprises are embracing the industrial internet and accelerating their process of digitalization and intelligentization.
Chongqing Youciba Auto Parts Co is one of the firms benefiting from the node. The company used to be obsessed with product quality and anti-counterfeiting traceability problems, which led to huge investments of time and labor to record and monitor all the necessary details.
After accessing the comprehensive application service center of the second-level node of identification and resolution, the firm established a standardized programming system for all links in the production chain. It is now capable of delivering tele-maintenance services to manufacturing facilities and monitoring and analyzing production in real time. In this way, the firm has managed to raise the efficiency of product quality inspections by 56 percent and cut labor costs by 38 percent.
Liangjiang has been a pioneer in big data and intelligent innovation, with many crucial nodes of identification and resolution and cloud computing centers set up in recent years.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
