Liangjiang New Area, located in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, recently signed a cooperation agreement with Xi'an Jiaotong University, pledging to launch in-depth cooperation projects in talent training, technology transfers, and engineering research.
According to the contract, Liangjiang's intelligent development research institute will be supported by research teams led by two academicians and one professor from the university, and will conduct relevant research into wearable smart devices, daily disinfection, and internet of things.
A talent training base will be built in the Chongqing Liangjiang Coordinative Innovation Zone and is meant to bring in scientific and research personnel for the new area.
The technology transfer base to be established soon will help more technologies developed by the university be industrialized in Liangjiang.
