Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality has set up additional 50 convenient nucleic acid testing sites in key public spaces such as business districts, squares, parks, communities, bus stations and office buildings, in addition to the 24 fixed testing sites already established there.

As part of efforts fully implement the dynamic zero-COVID policy issued by the central government, the addition of new testing sites aims to create a 15-minute sampling circle that boosts the accessibility of sampling facilities for locals.

The 50 new testing sites span eight sub-districts and 56 communities administered by the new area and have already been put into use, allowing residents to enjoy the sampling service without having to crowd into hospitals. All that is required to be sampled is an ID card or health code.

Liangjiang will manage medical worker distribution, supplies, sample transfers, and medical waste treatment work, and formulate unified work standards for medics at the sites.
