Several spoilers for the upcoming Smart China Expo (SCE) 2022 were recently released.
Setting up 130 online exhibition booths and six on-site display areas over an area of 90,000 square meters, the expo will widely apply cutting-edge information technologies, including naked-eye 3D, VR, and XR at the opening and closing ceremonies, forums, and exhibitions.
About 51.4 percent of the exhibition participants are from places outside Chongqing. Smart manufacturing, intelligent transportation, and another 30 fields involving over 1,560 application scenarios will be involved in the expo, which will also feature 120 online and offline product launch activities.
In addition, 20 professional forums themed on AI, the metaverse, the national strategy to channel more computing resources from eastern areas to less developed western regions, and other important topics will be held, along with a series of activities organized by Huawei, Changan, and six other companies.
Due to recurring pandemic outbreaks, the expo will prioritize the invitation of a professional audience. Other visitors can attend the online exhibition on its official website.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
