A total of 12 firms based in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality made the China top 500 enterprise list for 2022, including Longfor Group Co and Jinke Holding Group Co. In addition, 10 local companies were included in the China top 500 manufacturer list and 22 were included in the China top 500 service enterprise list, according to local news reports on Sept 6.

The ranking was carried out by the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Enterprise Directors Association, and has been conducted for 21 consecutive years.

The annual output threshold for the China top 500 enterprise list this year was 44.63 billion yuan ($6.69 billion), up 5.39 billion yuan from last year.
