The 24-hour smart library located in the Sincere Xingguang Tiandi Plaza in Liangjiang New Area is expected to open to the public in early November.

The smart library, a high-quality cultural and artistic venue based on humane, green, open and smart concepts, was jointly established by the new area's government and Chongqing Library, and the latter has provided more than 2,500 books for the library, including picture books for children as well as books related to history, culture and art.

The smart library is about 90 square meters, and is divided into spaces for shared reading, free reading, book collections and related equipment. There are also open recreational platforms outside the library.

Also worth noting is the smart management and unmanned operation of the library, allowing readers to borrow, return, read books and enjoy other visual and audio services around the clock.

Liangjiang will continue to expand the public reading space in order to improve people's quality of life in a targeted and intelligent manner.
