Production at Chongqing Yujiang Die Casting Co based in the Liangjiang New Area of Southwest China's Chongqing municipality has not skipped a beat despite the COVID-19 pandemic and closed-loop management of its workers is being carried out to ensure output and supply.
People outside the company are required to show their 24-hour Chongqing health codes and itinerary codes, and scan the venue code of the firm before they are allowed to enter the workshop.
Chongqing Yujiang Die Casting Co is one of Changan Ford's major suppliers and it has carried out closed-loop management since Nov 9. More than 3,000 workers strictly follow pandemic prevention and control procedures.
As a major engine powering Chongqing's automobile and electronic information industries, Liangjiang has been effectively coordinating the pandemic situation with its social and economic development. To date, 245 key manufacturers in regions directly administered by the new area have conducted the closed-loop production, with nearly 100,000 workers on duty.
In addition, Shuitu New City and other places in Liangjiang are also working on sustaining their production at full capacity.
