During this year's Spring Festival holiday, tourism in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality, witnessed a strong rebound, according to Liangjiang's bureau of market supervision.

All seven A-rated scenic spots in Liangjiang were open over the holiday and launched various tourism products, with a focus on activities related to folk customs.
The seven A-rated scenic spots received a total of 325,800 visitors, an increase of 57 percent over the same period last year.

According to statistics, the operating income of all scenic spots in Liangjiang came in at 17.58 million yuan ($2.59 million), higher than in recent years and an increase of 26 percent over the same period last year.
During the holiday, no tourism safety incidents occurred and no complaints or reports were received related to price gouging.
