Sources from the Liangjiang Coordinative Innovation Area based in Liangjiang New Area suggested that the Shanghai-Chongqing coordinative innovation center, under the umbrella of the National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center, has signed strategic cooperation framework contracts with both the Mingyue Lake Coordinative Innovation Institute and the Tianfu International Technology Transfer Center.

The three parties will join efforts to develop the Chongqing-Chengdu economic circle into a nationally influential sci-tech innovation center.

Currently the three institutions are conducting matching-up activities and promoting regional technology transfers to make full use of the innovative resources in Chongqing, Shanghai and Sichuan.

The Shanghai-Chongqing coordinative innovation center was jointly constructed by Liangjiang New Area and the National Eastern Tech-Transfer Center.

As the Chengdu-Chongqing strategic interactions deepen, it is expected that exchange channels will be established. This will form cross-regional resource sharing mechanisms and establish sci-tech innovation alliances.
