The Mingyue Lake Innovation and Development Conference on Digital Economy and Satellite Internet will be hosted on March 18.
The event will invite industry experts and representatives from leading companies to share their views on digitalization, the autonomous computing industry, and the satellite internet industry. About 200 leading enterprises will participate in the event.
The event will also be joined by Don Tapscott, who proposed the concept of the digital economy in 1994 for the first time and foresaw the impact of the internet on economic development.
A signing ceremony will be hosted, where enterprises involved in the platform economy, satellite internet, and the digital economy will ink cooperation with Chongqing Liangjiang New Area.
Liangjiang New Area will release its innovative action plan for the digital economy and satellite internet as well as inaugurate the Chongqing Digital Economy Innovation Park, which is also a core carrier of the national digital economy innovation pilot zone.
The industrial park sits in Liangjiang New Area and is part of an integrated development plan with Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone, which is home to many universities, colleges, institutes, and organizations from home and abroad which have a focus on scientific and technological innovation as well as achievement commercialization.
The park is expected to cover an area of 30 square kilometers and aims to foster a digital economy industrial cluster.
