An investment and business promotion delegation comprising representatives from Chongqing Bureau of Investment Promotion, Liangjiang New Area, Yuzhong and Yubei districts, and Western China (Chongqing) Science City toured Germany and Italy in Europe on June 29-July 5.

The delegation's visit to SWM, an Italian motorcycle company, was quite informative. They were given a detailed introduction to the production processes utilized by the company, as well as the unique features of their products. Yang Zixuan, who is the deputy head of the bureau, highlighted the immense potential of the motorcycle market in Chongqing and expressed a desire for SWM to introduce more advanced technologies and products to the region.

The delegation also visited Comau – an industrial automation company and robotics, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, and the Automobile European Design Center of Changan.

The general manager of Ntesa Sanpaolo Bank, in charge of its business in China, said that the company is set to strengthen cooperation with other Chongqing platforms based on the existing Italy-China fund and will visit Chongqing in person soon.
