The China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone's corporate service center at Lianglu Guoyuan Port CBZ was unveiled on July 13 in the Liangjiang New Area of Chongqing municipality, Southwest China.
At the new center, seven service windows have been established to handle taxation, marine affairs, market supervision and management, trade promotion, legal issues, corporate services, and customs. Additionally, self-service areas are available for tax affairs and other needs.
The establishment of the office by the Chongqing Pilot Free Trade Zone People's Court is a positive step towards providing better services to individuals and corporations. With policy consultations and coordination services readily available in the center, it will be easier for businesses to navigate complex regulations and make informed decisions. This move is expected to facilitate the growth of the free trade zone and attract more investments from domestic and foreign entities. The office's presence in the center also underscores the government's commitment to promoting a business-friendly environment and ensuring fairness and transparency in its dealings with corporations.
"Now, the online handling of government affairs is recommended," said a staff member working at the market supervision and management service window in the center. Currently, businesses can choose between online and offline channels for item handling. All government items have specific handling periods, and most can be completed without requiring a second visit to the center.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
