Changan Minsheng APLL Logistics Co, a company based in Liangjiang New Area, recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Merchants Energy Shipping Co.
The two companies have been cooperating in automobile transportation since 1998.
In the first half of this year, Chinese automotive exports exceeded 2 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 75.7 percent.
However, insufficient logistics and transportation capacity have been hindering the export of domestically-made automobiles.
The strategic cooperation between Changan Minsheng APLL Logistics Co and China Merchants Energy Shipping Co will lead to a strengthening of cooperation in areas such as container transportation for auto parts, automotive logistics and storage services, automotive logistics ecosystem, green logistics, joint ventures, and in overseas capital markets.
In addition to China Merchants Shipping, Changan Minsheng Logistics is also actively discussing collaboration with China COSCO Shipping Corp to help Chinese automobile manufacturers go abroad.
So far this year, Changan Minsheng APLL Logistics Co has helped Changan Automobile export over 100,000 vehicles, and it is expected to export over 200,000 vehicles this year.
