The first corporate service center for the China (Chongqing) Pilot Free Trade Zone was unveiled in the Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone (CBZ) in Liangjiang New Area in July this year.
The corporate service center is an innovative platform that brings market regulations, free trade courts, customs, and tax services to businesses. Since its establishment, the center has processed registration services such as business changes, filing, and supplementary permits for nearly 400 companies.
The innovative collaboration between the bureau of market supervision and regulation in Liangjiang and the free trade court of the new area has resulted in the establishment of an inland open legal protection demonstration zone within the service center. This cutting-edge zone aims to enhance the protection of intellectual property rights by providing businesses with access to legal education and consultation services.
Lianglu Guoyuan Port CBZ is the only comprehensive bonded zone in the inland region that combines a water port and an airport.
From January to July this year, the bonded goods in the zone increased by 76 percent compared to the previous year.
To assist foreign companies and foreigners with tax-related issues, the bureau has established a foreign tax service team to help foreign professionals efficiently handle tax payments and provide information on international tax policies.
The service center has set up unique service windows for social security services, facilitating services such as social security account opening, employee registration, and company information changes, providing one-stop services for local companies.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
