The battery inspection center of Shengde New Energy Power Technology will be based in Liangjiang New Area and set up inspection centers in Southwest China. In addition to charging and switching charging stations, it will establish an aftermarket service network covering Southwest China by inspecting power batteries, assessing and inspecting used cars, and providing data services and NEV maintenance and repair services.
The health industry, a pillar industry of Liangjiang, also won several contracts.
For example, SWS Hemodialysis Care, a provider of integrated blood purification solutions and the first Chongqing company listed on the Scientific and Technological Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, agreed to invest 2 billion yuan in the construction of an industrialization base for blood dialysis equipment and high-value consumables. The base is expected to achieve an annual output value of 3 billion yuan.
As a national digital economy innovation development pilot area, Liangjiang is a popular investment destination for digital companies. Zhizhu Shuzhi (Chongqing) Technology Co., Ltd., a tech company specializing in artificial intelligence and big data, will set up its operation center in Liangjiang. The center will be joined by an algorithm team to build SaaS platforms and provide clients with key technical services.
Liangjiang, as a major platform for Chongqing's economic development, is home to the headquarters and bases of many companies. China Construction Third Engineering Bureau Group (CSCEC) and Poly City Construction Service have agreed to set up their Chongqing headquarters and operation center for Southwest China in the area, respectively, to expand business in Chongqing and beyond.
John Edwards, the UK trade commissioner for China, praised Chongqing over its rise as a burgeoning center in intelligent manufacturing.
